Projects for the winter continue
We have basically completed the underside and wheel well projects, now we are doing the custom fliptop gas cap installation and painting of the car.

Gas Cap Body Modification
A flip top gas cap from a 68 Charger is being installed to give the Dart a more muscle look to the outside. What this required was cutting the body in a couple places, molding the metal to the shape we wanted and finally welding new metal in place to fill the gaps. This is the first stage of finishing, several more hours of sanding and finishing will be required to call this complete.

The Sanding Begins
The sanding has begun, this is not a chore for the weak at heart. We have been fortunate that the Dart body is very straght and needs littl e additional work. We decided not to put the Dart Swinger emblems back on the sides so that did create some welding and body work to smooth it out |
