How we ended up with Dart
History
I purchase this Dart Swinger in 1998 for my twin daughters 16th birthday. Being a dad from that era, I thought it was really cool for my daughters to cruise to school in such a cool ride. WRONG!!! They would not have a thing to do with it, it was old, needed exhaust, it had no loud stereo, and it didn't even have air conditioning that worked. They opted for the family truck instead. That did not really hurt my feelings because I new it was a diamond in the rough. We went to our first car show in the fall of 99 not knowing a thing about car shows. During the judging, the judge asked us to open the hood and we asked why and he answered to judge the engine compartment. Needless to say I was never so embarrassed about my car. It had never been cleaned! I didn't win a thing but my wife and I promised each other that that would never happen again and the following pages are the results. Hope you enjoy my car, I really do.

Helpful Hints:
As someone always low in funds, I've learned a few things about saving money on gas: First, make sure you service your car regularly. If your engine isn't working properly, you're losing money on gas. Also, if your tires aren't aligned or filled with the proper amount of air, then you aren't getting optimal gas mileage. Another reason why your car may be guzzling gas is your driving habits. Do you speed? Go to drive-throughs instead of going inside? Run your AC at all times? Constantly run errands? A little planning can save you gas--do all of your errands at one time, and don't do them during busy driving times, where you may idle at stoplights for a larger amount of time.
