A little about the engine and accessories
The engine is a "Crate" short block purchased from Jeg's in 2000. The short block consisted of the block, 10.0:1 compression pistons, timing chain, .509 cam, and crank. I purchased a set of "Aeroheads" from Indy. The heads are cast iron with 2.02/1.60 Intake and exhaust valves. Gas is fed by an Edelbrock Performer carb sitting on top a Polished Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Intake and the exhaust is exited by Dynomax coated headers.

Under the carb is a "Sniper" NOS plate system setup up for 150 h.p. The horsepower is transferred to the rear end by a 904 tranny with a B&M shift kit and a 2400 stall converter. The rear is a 8 3/4 sure grip rear with 3.91 gears.
To help off the line a TCI line loc was installed and the power button is on the shifter.
